Márcia ended the tour that promoted her 2018 album, “Vai e Vem”, in Lisbon, awarded with the José da Ponte Prize, from the Portuguese Society of Authors and which went through many cities including emblematic venues such as Casa da Music in Porto and Lisbon Coliseum.
It was a Tivoli full of fans and friends, which welcomed Márcia, an audience that accompanied and cherished her throughout the concert, where she presented her most well-known themes but also other important ones in her musical career.
Márcia mentioned being very grateful to be able to be at the Tivoli, and mentions how “warm” it is to hear the public sing her songs, she even says it’s a blanket on her soul.
The singer and author also received two important distinctions, with the book “As Estradas São Para Ir” in 2020, she received the finalist distinction in the Bertrand Book of the Year awards, Poetry Award, and in Galicia, she received the aRitmar award for Best Portuguese poem.
Márcia published the album “Vai e Vem”, the singer’s bedroom of originals, author of themes such as “A pele que há em mim” and “Cabra cega”, an album that succeeded “Quarto Crescente” in 2015, “Casulo” in 2013 and “Dá” in 2010, and a debut EP, with the same name, in 2009, in 2022, a new album of the singer is expected to be released.
