Collection sessions take place at Oeiras Parque, Strada Outlet and Braga Parque
Under the motto “Arms given for a good cause”, the Mundicenter Group, in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Blood and Transplantation (IPST), promotes the 22nd Blood Collection in three of its shopping centres: Oeiras Parque (July 30 on August 1st), Strada Outlet (July 30th to August 1st) and Braga Parque (August 1st to 3rd).
During this period, the population of Oeiras, Odivelas and Braga, and other visitors to shopping malls, are encouraged to participate in this solidarity initiative and contribute with a selfless and generous gesture, which can save lives. To donate blood, you must be between 18 and 65 years old – with the age limit for the first donation being 60 years old –, weigh more than 50kg and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
As they are busy spaces, shopping malls are ideal places to raise awareness among the population about donating blood. Thus, the Mundicenter Group and IPST once again reinforce their objective of raising awareness of the need to maintain blood reserves at adequate levels and promote the health of the population. This solidarity action is a unique opportunity for everyone to make a difference and contribute to the common good of the community.
