FC Porto beats Casa Pia for the League Cup

FC Porto beat Casa Pia 3-0 at Pina Manique Stadium on Thursday in a match for the second round of the group stage of the League Cup.

This triumph put Piadeans out of the next phase of the competition, putting the dragons in the final round against Desportivo de Chaves to rely on themselves (win or draw) to seal a place in the final four of the competition.

In a one-way game, however scoreless in the early stages, the Invicta emblem only unlocked the marker in the complementary stage under Renzo Saravia, who scored the first goal of his career, Luis Díaz and Tiquinho Soares.
