Flor-de-Lis release the single “Amores Assim” in digital format on May 1st
“Amores Assim“ is the new single by Flor-de-Lis, a composition rooted in Portuguese folk and folk music, interpreted in an environment of nostalgic joy, where the voice takes us from ballad to fado and the instruments progressively enter a crescendo of emotion that reaches its peak to soon return to the bonomony of contemplation.
In Flor-de-Lis we can hear Daniela Varela on the vocals, José Camacho on the guitars, Vasco Corisco on the bass, and Pedro Marques on the percussion and drums, with Portuguese folk music as the main thread and Portuguese Folklore as the main influence.
Their music is intense, very rhythmic, and festive and has positively surprised the critics in general, as well as those who insist on following the career of the group that already has a captive place in Portuguese popular music and that now intends to take their sounds beyond borders.
The band became better known when in 2009 it won the National Song Contest with the song “Todas as Ruas do Amor” and represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.
