Jorge Rivotti is not an unknown author of Portuguese music. With three albums published: Theory General Dos Caminhos (1997), Dias Da Publicidade (2001), Lisboa A Sete (2016), composer of orchestrations for strings and choirs in a more classical register, Jorge Rivotti conducted concerts at the invitation of Armando Carvalheda, renowned radio host of Antena 1, for the celebrations of the 25th of April.
In the various participations with national musicians, we highlight Samuel Úria, Zeca Medeiros, Manuel João Vieira, and António Vitorino de Almeida. He was a member of the GAROTO Group, and in September he returns with a new album that has the support of the SPA Cultural Fund.
“Rosinha Vem-te Comigo” theme revisited from her original album “Teoria Geral dos Caminhos” from 1997, music that traveled miles before being re-recorded is the first single we present. With original lyrics from the Miranda do Douro/Bragança songbook and adaptation, with original music by Jorge Rivotti, the song also wanted to be Italian, in this duet with Donatello Brida.
