“Swan Lake” by the Kyiv Ballet Company, with an extra session

The Kyiv Ballet Company returns to Lisbon in early December to present the classic “Swan Lake” at the Tivoli BBVA Theater, on the 6th and 8th, and “The Nutcracker” on the 7th.
With all sessions sold out, UAU announces a new session for the morning of December 8, at 11 a.m. This session joins the sold-out sessions on December 6 at 9 p.m. and December 8 at 4 p.m.
“Swan Lake” is one of the most famous ballets in the world and expresses emotions through the beauty and delicacy of dance. This classic and timeless piece, over a century old, emphasizes a very relevant theme, the duality between good and evil, represented by the purity of the white swan (Odette) and the duplicity of Odile, the black swan and daughter of the sorcerer. The ballet features choreography by Marius Petipa and music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
The audience will also be treated to the performance of “The Nutcracker,” also by the Kyiv Ballet Company, which is scheduled for December 7 with a double session at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Tivoli BBVA Theater.
Tickets for “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker” by the Kyiv Ballet are already on sale at Ticketline and at usual locations.
