Marco Meneses finished eighth in the 50 meter final

The Portuguese Marco Meneses finished the final of the 50 meters freestyle S11 in eighth place, securing the second diploma for Portugal in the Paralympic Games that are taking place in Tokyo, Japan.

The Portuguese swimmer finished the race with a time of 28.02 seconds, breaking the national record he had surpassed in the qualifiers (28.56).

In riding, Ana Mota Veiga closed the individual dressage competition grade I in 14th place, with 65,500 points, a result that distances her from the individual competition of Freestyle grade I.
