This Sunday, December 17th, at 4 pm, the Super Baile takes place for the last time this year, at a different time than the usual one that aims to bring together audiences of all ages at Musicbox.
The party that aims to recover the imagery of popular dances takes place in a matinee format, with a show designed for the whole family.
Synonymous with conviviality, joy and gathering, the popular dance has always been an opportunity to dance among friends and family, in a moment of lightness and carelessness. Super Baile was born out of the desire to bring this spirit to the club context, in a partnership between Musicbox and Super Bock. The resident band, is composed of 5 artists already known from the national music circuit — Lila Fadista (Fado Bicha), João Sala (Ganso, Zarco), Raquel Pimpão (Fumo Ninja, Femme Falafel), Edvânio Vunge (Força Suprema, Nayr Faquirá) and Gui Tomé Ribeiro (Salto, GPU Panic) —, performs versions of classic themes from dance and popular music, in a lineup that includes Amália Rodrigues, Bonga, José Pinhal, Marco Paulo, among many others.
This matinee, before and after Super Baile, there is a DJ set for families with Baileia, a duo of artist-educators composed of Clara Bevilaqua and Gui Calegari.
Tickets for the Super Baile matinee are now on sale at musicboxlisboa.com and cost €7 for adults and €2.5 for under 18s.
