Judo

Portuguese judoka Rochele Nunes won the silver medal in the Tel Aviv Grand Slam.

Rochele Nunes with an almost perfect walk in the Israeli competition, reached the final of +78 kilos against the French Romane Dicko, 10th in qualification for the Tokyo2020 Olympic Games, winner of the Judo Masters, in Doha and European champion for the second time and of winning gold in the Grand Slam of Paris.

The 21-year-old Frenchwoman didn’t surprise anyone when she only needed 25 seconds to show all the favoritism in the final against the Portuguese judoka, winning the fight in the first attack, leaving the Portuguese on the mat, followed by immobilization.

Rochele Nunes, judoka, of Brazilian origin and who since 2019 represents Portugal, won until the final, Kazakh Camila Berlikash, 69th in the ranking, the German Jasmin Grabowski, 22nd and the Brazilian Maria Altheman, 3rd, all by ‘ippon ‘, showing Israel the good shape she is in.

The Portuguese judoka has shown good results in 2020, including the bronze medal in the Europeans, the bronze in the Grand Slam of Paris, the bronze in the Grand Prix of Tel Aviv and now this silver medal in the Grand Slam of Tel Aviv.
