About a year ago, Samuel announced “Canções do Pós-Guerra”, the album he had prepared for the beginning of 2020. The pandemic situation forced him to postpone for September and thus was: Samuel presented the disc surrounded by his Musicians in exhausted shows at the Tivoli BBVA theater and in the music house.
Months later, behold, the pandemic and the consequent confinement conditioned it again. This time with our advantage since Samuel set out to look at the repertoire of “Canções do Pós-Guerra,” but not only, in solitary registration.

The result is “Canções do Pós-Guerra – solo”, an EP of 6 themes that will integrate the special edition of the homonymous registration that will reach the digital platforms on March 26. Following, the creation of a presentation of unique characteristics Dates in the month of May in Lisbon and Porto: 3 and 4 at the Theater Maria Matos and 6 and 7 at the CCOP auditorium, respectively. This new registration spreading next week, includes “war and peace” versions, “falls short” and “containment”, some anchor songs of “post-war songs” and that they earn in this format, an even more dramatic dimension . These, Samuel joined unpublished interpretations of “shelter song”, an original its compound for Ana Moura and published in the album “Moura”; “Signs”, the partnership with Hélder Gonçalves for the clan and published in the last album of the band “Eve”; And still a version of “love according to Márcia.
For stage, Samuel will take the musical universe of “post-war songs” but will also bring these presentations themes that are part of your discography and will show us in your purest state of composition.
