UEFA: Ronaldo alongside Messi and Modric in the team of the year
UEFA announced this Friday the eleventh of the year chosen by fans, highlighting the absence of Neymar. Cristiano Ronaldo was the second athlete to receive more votes.
UEFA unveiled on Friday the list of 11 players chosen by supporters of the sport to be among the best of the year.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the second most voted player, is the only Portuguese athlete in this list, and Neymar is the great absence.
Lionel Messi was the third most voted player, only behind Juve’s ace and Luka Modric, a Croatian player who has received several awards this season.
Cristiano Ronaldo added 108,423 votes, Messi 107,326, and Luka Modric 115,440.
