Patrícia Mamona won the third medal for Portugal, in the Europeans of Torun, after Auriol Dongmo in the weight throw and Pedro Pichardo in the triple jump.
Patrícia Mamona, 32 years old, won this Sunday, the first title in indoor track, in the category of the triple jump, but also reached a new national record with this jump of 14.53 meters.
With the advantage of a centimetre over Ana Peleteiro from Spain and Neele Eckhardt from Germany who won the silver and bronze medal respectively.
With this medal, Portugal is thus the first team to win three gold medals at the European Indoor Track Athletics.
