With more than 40 expressions of interest from teams from more than 15 countries, the second edition of the rocket design, construction and launch competition promises to be electrifying.
[dropcap]R[/dropcap]egistration is now open for another edition of the European Rocketry Challenge – EuRoC, international rocket competition for university students with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, promoted by the Portuguese Space Agency. Designing, building and launching rockets with solid, hybrid or liquid propulsion at altitudes between 3,000 and 9,000 meters is the challenge left.
The application period runs until April 18 and interested parties must complete the form available on the EuRoC website.
Registrants are subject to the selection process, which involves assessing the technical aspects of the rockets, but also the motivation, diversity and experience of the teams, with the participation of beginning teams being strongly encouraged, explains the Portuguese Space Agency.
The organization will hold a clarification session on the rules and requirements for participation on March 31 at 16:00 (GMT).
