Celebrate 40 years of magical music from Echo & The Bunnymen

Echo & The Bunnymen returned to Portugal, to celebrate 40 years of music, on the “Celebrating 40 Years of Magical Songs” tour, and had an almost full house of fans welcome them.

One of the most popular post-punk bands of the 80s, which had not been present in Portugal since 2019, was at Aula Magna yesterday, for a concert with the House of Fun seal, to celebrate its 40th anniversary with its many fans. of songs, many of them magical.

After the theme “Nocturnal Me” was included in the soundtrack of the series Stranger Things, the songs of Ian McColloch and Will Sergeant returned to playlists all over the world, with an extensive discography, Echo has 13 studio albums, 1980’s Crocodiles, 1981’s Heaven Up Here, 1983’s Porcupine, 1984’s Ocean Rain, 1987’s Echo & the Bunnymen, 1990’s Reverberation, 1997’s Evergreen, What Are You Going to Do with Your Life? 1999, 2001’s Flowers, 2005’s Siberia, 2009’s The Fountain, 2014’s Meteorites and 2018’s The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon.

No concerto da Aula Magna, podemos ouvir, “Going up”, “Rescue”, “All that Jazz”, “Bring on the Dancing Horses” entre outras, mas claro, “The Killing Moon” “The Cutter”, “Lips Like Sugar” e “Ocean Rain” não poderiam faltar num alinhamento que se pretendia ser mágico, neste excelente concerto dos Echo & the Bunnymen.

At the Aula Magna concert, we can hear, “Going Up”, “Rescue”, “All that Jazz”, “Bring on the Dancing Horses” among others, but of course, “The Killing Moon” “The Cutter”, “Lips Like Sugar” and “Ocean Rain” could not be missing from a lineup that was intended to be magical, in this excellent concert by Echo & the Bunnymen.
