Vilarinho is a young fado singer who has attracted the attention of the general public, due to her sweet voice as well as the feeling she transmits when she sings. In 2008 he won the Great Night of Fado and participated, twice, in Santa Casa Alfama.
Along her journey, Diana Vilarinho has already passed through the most emblematic fado houses in Lisbon, having performed on several national stages. Teatro São Luiz, Teatro Tivoli and Cinema São Jorge are good examples of them.
Recently he performed at Festival VIII Noches de Fado, Divas, having received excellent reviews.
In addition to the interpretations, the lyrics of Florbela Espanca or the songs of the fado singer Ricardo Ribeiro, were highlights of the young fado singer’s performance, on a night when fado dominated the CCB.
Integrated in the cycle “Há Fado no Cais” the show that Ana Vilarinho gave at CCB, on July 4th, was a production by EGEAC, Museu do Fado and support by Antena 1.
