Jimin, a member of BTS, a pop icon of the 21st century, has just released his second solo album, MUSE, now available in stores and digital platforms. The album arrived a year after the release of his first solo album, FACE.
While FACE delved deeper into the confrontation with his inner self, through MUSE Jimin openly shares the stories he wants to convey while recounting his journey to find inspiration in the environment that surrounds him.
Jimin, who led the overall production of MUSE, tells the story of how he made several attempts to find real, genuine love and sometimes lost his way, throughout the album’s seven songs: “Rebirth (Intro)”, “Interlude: Showtime ”, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)”, “’Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)”, “Be Mine”, “’Who” and “Closer Than This”. The theme of love begins with the first song, “Rebirth (Intro)”, and unfolds throughout the album, reaching its climax in the main song, “Who”.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967) by The Beatles not only served as the initial inspiration for the single “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)”, but also influenced the overall visual concept of the album. The visual concept of MUSE unfolds into two versions – ‘BLOOMING’ and ‘SERENADE’. The visual concept portrays Jimin as the band’s lead singer, showcasing his unique charm.
