NEIVA will perform live on the 5th of August at 11:00 pm in her homeland.
The concert included in Festas de Marinhais in Honor of São Miguel Arcanjo, will have NEIVA as one of the guests present, where he will present his most recent original themes.
“Saída”, “Ansia de Viver” and “Demais”, as well as other songs that represent and inspired NEIVA will be included in the lineup. “Under Pressure” by Queen, “Ó Gente da Minha Terra” by Mariza, including the recent hit “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus, and the timeless “Quero é Viver”, are songs linked to the artist’s musical journey in a way very special and where he had the opportunity to interpret them in several television moments, in his passage through talent contests on national television.
This show reveals the new “phase” of NEIVA that it intends to show throughout Portugal.
NEIVA is the artistic name of Ricardo Neiva and it appears in the desire to invest in himself in a solo career. He began his musical career in 2009, with guitar lessons at the school “Estúdio ETC e Tal”, in Benavente. That year he presented himself to the public singing for the first time in Christmas and End of School Year galas. In 2014, he dedicated himself to learning the piano at the “O Batuque” Academy of Arts, Culture, and Training, where he is currently a professor and general coordinator. Throughout his journey, he has integrated various musical projects as a vocalist and performer, highlighting the band FIVE, the first of originals. He starts his artistic path, through his participation in television programs such as RTP – “The Voice Portugal” in 2017, and TVI-“All Together Now” in 2021.
He has a degree in Music in the Community, from the Superior School of Education of Lisbon and the Superior School of Music of Lisbon. He technically graduated from the Musical Theater Actors Training course at EDSAE, in Lisbon, from 2019 to 2022. He divides his professional life between music classes and concerts.
In 2022, he edits as NEIVA the first single “Saída”. In September of the same year, he released his second single “Ansia de Viver”.
“Demais”. It’s his third single and it’s available on all digital platforms since the 26th of May.
NEIVA intends to conquer the public and reach the maximum number of people possible, conquering opportunities to spread its music with the objective of a solid and lasting musical career.
For NEIVA, this is an ambition that is not TOO MUCH to try.
