Noah Kahan debuts in Portugal at NOS Alive’25
The singer and composer Noah Kahan debuts in Portugal at NOS Alive’25. The author of the hit “Stick Season” performs on the NOS Stage on the first day of the festival, July 10, after having sold out in less than 48 hours the concert under his own name the BTS Hyde Park in London.
Vermont native, GRAMMY® nominated Noah Kahan has exploded from his New England roots to the global stage. At the heart of his music are vulnerable lyrics and raw but relatable honesty, while the critically acclaimed artist writes songs straight from the heart and makes jokes with his characteristic self-deprecating humour.
Throughout his career, Kahan became world famous for his unique blend of Folk, American and Rock, accumulating over seven billion streams and 4x Platinum certification for his hit single “Stick Season.” His widely-loved album Stick Season, Double Platinum certified, and the featured single were inspired by his hometown of Strafford, Vermont, as well as his early musical inspirations and compositional idols – from Paul Simon to Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens) – conveying a vivid representation of what he loves most, fears and fights with more passion. After the album’s huge global success, released the “Stick Season Tour,” which sold out all tickets, and two expanded versions of the album – Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) and Stick Season (Forever), which surpassed the sales of the original and included new singles like “Dial Drunk” and “Forever,” plus collaborations with names like Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, Hozier, Gregory Alan Isakov, Gracie Abrams, Sam Fender and Lizzy McAlpine.
The latest “We’ll All Be Here Forever World Tour” has taken him to sold-out stadiums and arenas around the world, including two sold-out nights at the iconic Fenway Park in Boston. The concerts were live-streamed to support their mental health initiative, The Busyhead Project, which has already raised more than $2.5 million to expand access to mental health care and combat stigma around mental health. His live album, Live From Fenway Park, was released after the remarkable shows as the closing chapter of Stick Season.
2025 marks the debut of Folk’s phenomenon in Portugal, at NOS Alive on July 10 at Palco NOS, alongside the already confirmed Olivia Rodrigo.
