Prime Video announces the premiere date of the new original series Fallout

  • Based on the best-selling video game franchise, Fallout will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on April 12, 2024

Prime Video announces that the long-awaited Fallout series will debut on April 12, 2024.

Fans were treated to this special announcement on the 26th anniversary of Fallout Day, an annual celebration dedicated to the award-winning and best-selling video game franchise. Additionally, Amazon Studios shares the series’ official social media channels and an interactive Pip-Boy that includes the release date in the pop-up text to continue to delight and surprise fans.

Set in Los Angeles in a post-apocalyptic future and in the Fallout universe, the series is an original story based on Fallout and will be part of the video game universe. The series is being produced by Kilter Films and the creators of Westworld, with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy serving as executive producers. Fallout will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide as part of a Prime membership. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the executive producers, writers and showrunners of Fallout. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are executive producers through Kilter Films under their global deal with Amazon. Athena Wickham of Kilter Films is also an executive producer, along with Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman of Bethesda Softworks. Amazon and Kilter Films are producing the series in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Nolan directs the first three episodes of this epic series.
