Público chooses ‘A ver o mar’ best Portuguese short of the festival Córtex

The films “A ver o mar” by Ana Oliveira and André Puertas, and “That summer without a home” by Santiago Reale, won the Sintra Short Film Festival on Saturday, the organization said.

The award-winning films of this edition of Cortex can be seen today at 6:00 pm at the Olga Cadaval Cultural Center and on the 10th at the Ideal Cinema in Lisbon.

This year, the Cortex was marked by a retrospective of the cinema of the director and Portuguese visual artist Gabriel Abrantes, with 15 films, that cover a decade of work with the image in cinema.
