Zoom wants to have translations and subtitles in real time
Zoom announced the acquisition of Karlsruhe Information Technology, a German startup known for its ‘machine learning’ software capable of providing real-time translations and subtitles.
The company did not reveal details about the amounts involved in this deal, but said that the purpose of the acquisition is to integrate new features into the video call service, namely the ability to translate speech in real-time.
