Norah Jones edits new song “Can You Believe”

Nine-time GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter and pianist Norah Jones is back in the studio working on her ninth studio album sharing the new song “Can You Believe” ahead of her European tour. Both melancholy and uplifting, “Can You Believe” was co-written by Norah and Leon Michels, who produced the song and contribute bass and drums, in addition to Norah’s voice, piano and organ.

Norah Jones returns to European stages this summer for her first tour dates on the continent since 2018. Concerts in July will take Norah to France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Spain and Portugal. In our country, Norah Jones is on the lineup for this year’s Cool Jazz festival, where she will perform on July 29th.

Norah Jones first appeared on the world stage with the release of “Come Away With Me” in 2002, described by herself as a “melancholic album” that introduced a new and distinctive voice that became a global phenomenon, winning the GRAMMYs of 2003, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

Since then, Jones has become a nine-time GRAMMY winner, has sold more than 50 million albums, and her songs have been played six billion times around the world. She has released a string of critically acclaimed and commercially successful solo albums – “Feels Like Home” (2004), “Not Too Late” (2007), “The Fall” (2009), “Little Broken Hearts” (2012), “Day Breaks” (2016), “Pick Me Up Off The Floor” (2020), the live album “’Til We Meet Again” (2021) and their Christmas album “I Dream Of Christmas” ( 2021) – and others with band “The Little Willies”, “El Madmo” and “Puss N Boots” with Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper. The 2010 compilation “Featuring Norah Jones” showcased her incredible versatility by bringing together collaborations with artists as diverse as Willie Nelson, Foo Fighters, Outkast and Herbie Hancock. In 2022, Jones launched her “Norah Jones Is Playing Along” podcast, which features candid conversations and improvised musical collaborations with some of her favorite musicians.
