ProfJam sells out the Aula Magna twice
With a show entirely dedicated to his latest album ‘MDID’, this Friday and Saturday.
ProfJam scheduled a double session in the large auditorium of Aula Magna, and his class guaranteed their presence right away. The subject to review is MDID (Música De Intervenção Divina), but the exhibition of this new volume designed by Mário Cotrim promises to be unprecedented. With a couple of concerts entirely dedicated to the presentation of his latest album, two truly special nights are ahead in terms of the Telheiras rapper’s performance.
Distinguished with the Golden Record award, the MC’s fifth solo work, which combines his baptismal initials with those of his profession, chose the fifth day of the fifth month of last year to launch a project made up of 25 tracks. The solemnity and symbolism underlying this new work of his motivated a revelation different from the traditional one, hence the emblematic room of the Rectory of the University of Lisbon was the chosen space — precisely because MDID deserves such a noble stage and, simultaneously, to assume a contrast between predefined notions about space and its host.
After presenting its new feature film first-hand, in a showcase that brought together thousands of people outside the Telheiras metro station, in Jardim Francisco Caldeira Cabral, ProfJam is now preparing for a double official presentation of the successor to SYSTEM. The summary is given and there was more than time to assimilate the material given in May of last year. There is nothing wrong with the content. As far as form is concerned, there are a few surprises ready to be revealed… And there will be no shortage of witnesses to tell what will happen.
