Coimbra joins Porto and Lisbon on Thalia Zedek’s return to Portugal

Thalia Zedek, will participate on October 12th in the warm-up of the Lux Interior festival that will take place at Salão Brazil in Coimbra. The American’s performance (in showcase form) is scheduled for 21:00.

Thalia Zedek is a living legend! No one can deny it after listening to and assimilating everything she has ever created, sung and played since the late 1970s to the present day.

Through his hand passed underground cult bands like the Uzi (before the obscure White Women and Dangerous Birds) and the Live Skull. In the early 1990s, he returned to Boston and, along with former Codeine drummer Chris Brokaw, formed the seminal band Come.

Come released in six years, 4 albums [Eleven: Eleven 1992, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell 1994, Near Life Experience 1996 and finally Gently Down the Stream 1998], becoming a of the most important bands of the alternative universe in the USA but with strong influence also in Europe (eg the Drugstore).

From 1998 to 2019, Thalia Zedek has been publishing albums in her own name and under the names E and Thalia Zedek Band. Now it comes to us to introduce us to your latest album Fighthing Season.
