Ricardo Melo Gouveia ends French Open in 69th place
Ricardo Melo Gouveia finished 69th in the French Open of Golf, the Europea Tour competition won by Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts, seven years after the last trophy.
The Portuguese had the worst of the four days of action, with 77 strikes, six above Par, and finished the race with a total of 293, nine above.
It recorded just one birdie (one under par) and a total of seven bogeys (one over), yielding eight positions from 61st place on Saturday.
The race was won by Colsaerts, who finished a seven-year-old fast at Le Golf National in Paris after leading the race from day two to claim his third European Tour trophy in a month to make 37 years, and the first since May 2012 (Volvo World Match Play).
