Apple is developing Virtual and Augmented Reality glasses
The Virtual Reality device could arrive in 2022 and show similarities to Facebook’s Oculus Quest 2.
Current prototypes indicate that the final product will support prescription lenses and some of them even have external cameras with basic Augmented Reality capabilities.
The biggest problem with this Virtual Reality device is that the current prototypes are too big and, for the time being, potentially too expensive for a mass market.
On the other hand, the Augmented Reality devices are still in a very early stage of development, with those responsible for them still working on the technology that will be at the base of the product. Development is believed to take a few years.
Note that the fact that these projects are in development does not mean that Apple will materialize them.
