OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will have Hasselblad cameras

After weeks of speculation and unconfirmed information, OnePlus has moved forward with the official presentation of the 9 Series models: the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he first is the ‘entry’ model, with a price starting at 729 euros in version 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with the version of 12 GB and 256 GB of space going to 829 euros. The Pro version starts at 929 euros and can go up to 1029 euros in the top version. Sales should start as early as April, and it is possible to book equipment.

The highlight of these new models goes to the cameras, developed in partnership with Hasselblad. The manufacturer reveals that the ultrawide sensor is one of the largest used for smartphones, with a Sony IMX766 that measures 1/1.56 ”and has a f/2.2 aperture. Both models will have a 2 MP monochrome sensor and a 16 MP selfie camera. Version 9 Pro also adds an 8 MP telephoto lens, reports The Verge.

The two companies also collaborated on the photo software, with a Hasselblad Pro Mode that provides users with additional control over capture settings.

The Model 9 Pro has a 1440p curved screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and uses LPTO technology to adjust the rate between 1 and 120 Hz based on the content being transmitted. The OnePlus 9 has a straight screen, does not include LPTO technology, has a resolution of 1080p and a brightness at 1100 nits.

In the ‘bowels’ these models feature a Snapdragon 888 processor, support Warp Charge 65T charging, which allows you to fully charge the 4500 mAh battery in less than 30 minutes. The Pro version adds 50 W wireless charging.

The first devices are expected to hit the market in the first week of April.
