Facebook achieves environmental goal and sets new goal for 2030
Facebook announced that it managed to get all of its operations powered by renewable energy, a goal that the technology company had set in 2018.
The company had set the target for 2020, therefore being slightly delayed in this announcement. Still, Facebook also plans to eliminate emissions across its value chain by 2030.
This objective will imply that Facebook works directly towards this goal with suppliers and that it seeks to deal with aircraft emissions during work travel or employee transportation.
