Festival ‘Músicas do Mundo’ in Sines postponed to 2022

The 22nd edition of the Sines FMM should have taken place in July 2020, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, it was postponed to July this year, and is now rescheduled to 2022, with no details on the new dates or ticketing information.

The postponement to 2022 of the 26th edition of the SBSR festival was also announced, which was scheduled for Meco, in Sesimbra, on the 15th, 16th and 17th of July this year.

Tickets purchased for 2020 or 2021 continue to be valid for the event in 2022, with reimbursement possible, within 14 working days after the scheduled date of the festival, only for tickets purchased in 2020, according to approved rules for these situations.

Due to restrictions to limit the spread of covid-19, the pandemic situation in other countries and the different vaccination rates, several music festivals have already been postponed, including ID No Limits and CoolJazz (both in Cascais), Alive (Oeiras), Rock in Rio Lisboa, Primavera Sound (Porto), Boom Festival (Idanha-a-Nova), Barroselas Metalfest and Gouveia Art Rock.

However, there are other festivals that remain marked in Portugal, namely the Southwest (August, Odemira) and Paredes de Coura (August, Viana do Castelo district).
