Fixando services app creates refugee support measures
The platform brings together around 50,000 specialists from the tertiary sector
The Fixando APP, which connects clients with specialists in the service sector, announced the implementation of easier conditions for using the APP for refugees who want to make their services available on the platform.
“Fixando joins the national and international community in the unequivocal repudiation of the Russian attack on Ukraine and expresses all its solidarity with the Ukrainian people and, therefore, we decided to create facilitating measures for access to employment in the tertiary sector in Portugal”, explains Alice Nunes, director of New Business at Fixando.
In this way, refugees who want to register with Fixando as specialists will be able to enjoy the first package of credits free of charge, which will allow them to respond to requests for a quote for the services they are able to provide, at no cost. In addition, throughout their first year of registration on the platform, they will be able to enjoy a 50% discount on the purchase of new credits.
To take advantage of these special conditions, refugees should simply send an email explaining their situation, without the need to present additional documentation, to the email.
For Alice Nunes, “this contribution aims to enhance the skills of refugees and, at the same time, serve as a platform that facilitates access to employment, in order to reintegrate them into a hospitable and supportive community such as the Portuguese community. We believe that, in this way, we can contribute positively to helping citizens who have been conditioned to live in a situation to which we are sensitive”.
Fixando aggregates services from the most different areas of the tertiary sector, from domestic services to the most specialized, bringing together around 50,000 professionals from the tertiary sector and allowing them to reach thousands of customers from all over the country.
