Benfica beat Rio Ave 3-0, in Vila do Conde, and reinforced the leadership in the League. Luca Waldschmidt (2) and Gabriel scored the goals of the Eagles, who had two goals canceled by VAR.

With this result, the reds remain undefeated in the championship, now with 12 points, five more than FC Porto and Sporting, who drew in the Alvalade classic (the lions have one game less).
