Bom Petisco Girls Score highlights the best in women’s surfing
The Bom Petisco Girls Score award distinguishes the best female surfing performances in the MEO Surf League, helping to raise the level of surfing for the best national athletes. In the four stages that have already taken place in the 1st division of national surfing, this parallel prize has been hotly contested, giving surfers extra motivation to take risks and achieve the best score in each event.
In a golden moment for Portuguese women’s surfing with several athletes winning national and international titles, in addition to their Olympic presence, the Bom Petisco Girls Score is alongside the evolution of surfing in Portugal for the fourth consecutive year.

The 2021 national champion and current leader of the MEO Surf League ranking, Francisca Veselko, has dominated this award with three wins in the four stages already held, making consistency and high-level performances her weapon to stand out from the competition.
