Colinas do Douro is present at the Douro Superior Wine Festival

In the next days 17 to 19 of May, the property of Douro Superior returns to show what its wines are worth in Vila Nova de Foz Côa.

Colinas do Douro is again present at the Douro Superior Wine Festival, which runs from May 17 to 19, in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. The property of the Upper Douro, crossed by the shady terroirs of the Douro and granitic of Beira Interior, will showcase its wines again in the Exhibition Center of Vila Nova de Foz Côa (Expocôa).

It will be a good opportunity to discover – or try again – the white, red, rosé and late harvest wines of Colinas do Douro and Quinta da Extrema, a project created in 2010. The Colinas Douro Reserva Branco 2017 will be one of the highlights wines in one of the special events.

This wine festival has the Douro Superior Wine Contest, which includes a series of prestigious wines and a vast program of activities, including the colloquium ‘Foz Côa, point of convergence of all nearby’. There are also three wine tastings commented by journalists and wine critics of the magazine Grandes Escolhas Fernando Melo, Valéria Zeferino and Luís Ramos Lopes.

On Friday night, at 8:30 p.m., a dinner will be held in the restaurant Petiscaria Preguiça, in Mós do Douro, where the wines of the Douro Hills will be tested. The 8th Douro Superior Wine Festival, between the 17th and 19th of May, takes place in the Exhibition Center of Vila Nova de Foz Côa (Expocôa).
