Diabo na Cruz, Conan Osiris and Bruno Pernadas on Radio Faneca

The concerts of Diabo na Cruz Conan Osíris and Bruno Pernadas are some of the highlights of the 7th edition of the Radio Faneca festival, which will take place from 7 to 9 June in Ílhavo, Aveiro district, the local authority said today.

The organization again bets on “irreverent, emergent and festive” names, in line with the festival, which returns to “another edition of meetings and friendship, in which the invitation is always for the creation and for the party.”

The musical component will be further assured by Flak, Moonshiners, João Berhan, Lince, Pedro de Troia, Les Saint Armand and Joana Espadinha.

The festival, promoted by the 23 miles, a cultural project of the municipality of Ílhavo, was born in 2012 with the purpose of recovering the name of what was, for decades, a radio of requested records in the historical center of Ílhavo.

At the center of the event there is a real radio (tuned to 103.9 FM), which this year is again a stage and receive not only items, with special guests, such as concerts and other unpublished moments.

One of the projects that is already part of the genesis of this festival is the Open House, guided this year by the artist Marina Palace, which “invites the hosts to think their stories and relate them to the fauna and flora of the region.”

Stories in the Alleys, worked by Cláudia Gaiolas, return to tell stories of unforgettable Portuguese.

In addition to these projects, note also for the traditional games of Hélder, who come from Jardim Henriqueta Maia to the alleys.

The great majority of the actions of the festival will be held at Jardim Henriqueta Maia, in the heart of the historical center of Ílhavo. All initiatives have free admission.
