‘Elas e o Jazz’ perform at Figueira Jazz Fest on the 29th
Elas e o Jazz end the Figueira Jazz Fest, on August 29, in a concert taking place in the open-air amphitheater of the Summer Gardens of the Arts and Entertainment Center of Figueira da Foz, at 10 pm.
On the 28th Joana Machado, Mariana Norton and Marta Hugon are the guests of the Jazz Orchestra of the CAE School of Arts, under the direction of maestro Ricardo Gabriel.
Entrance to the concerts is free, upon prior collection of tickets and within the limit of available seats. All information available at cae.pt.
Together on stage They recreate the atmosphere of Broadway classics and give new life to the themes that made the history of the American songbook, with original arrangements by Joana Machado and accompanied by a luxury trio, with André Sousa Machado, on drums, João Coelho, on the piano, and Bernardo Moreira, on the double bass.
Since their formation in 2018, they have traveled the country from North to South, with performances, among others, at EDP Cool Jazz, Casa da Música and CCB – where they sold out the Grand Auditorium at the end of last year.
Love me or Leave, the eternal classic of Walter Donaldson and Gus Kahn, is the trio’s latest single. The video clip, signed by Arlindo Camacho, was released last July 16th.
