Exhibition “O Divino em Objetiva 19” at Fenais da Luz until October

“O Divino em Objetiva 19”, an exhibition organized by the Association of Amateur Photographers of the Azores (AFAA) and part of the reservations of the Municipality of Ponta Delgada, is open until the end of October in Largo Nossa Senhora da Luz, parish of Fenais da Luz.

The exhibition is composed of 30 photographs by José Maria Sousa, Gabi Pontes, José Vaz, Pedro Rosa and Paulo Melo, all AFAA members, and was recorded during the XVI Grandes Festas do Divino Espírito Santo of 2019, promoted and organized annually, on the second weekend of July, by the City Council of Ponta Delgada.

The exhibition shares with the public the record of one of the largest religious, social, and cultural celebrations in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, and the Azores.

It should be remembered that “O Divino em Objetiva 19” was on display in July at Praça do Município, in the parish of São Sebastião, in a co-organization with the municipality and integrated in the program of the symbolic celebration of the Great Festivities of Divino Espírito Santo.
