Facebook tests merger between Messenger and WhatsApp

After merging Messenger with the Instagram messaging service, Facebook is now trying to make its messaging app compatible with WhatsApp.

Compatible Messenger with WhatsApp will be completely optional for users. Still, the merger of these two services should mean that some Messenger features will also be available on WhatsApp.
