“Stay With Me Tonight” with extra sessions at the Tivoli BBVA Theater
With several sold-out sessions, producer Plano 6 announces new sessions until November 3: Tuesday at 9 PM, Saturday at 5 PM, and Sunday at 9 PM.
“Stay With Me Tonight” premiered in early October and has already captivated the Portuguese audience. The play, starring Miguel Falabella and Marisa Orth, now has more than 25 performances at the Tivoli BBVA Theater, where it will be on stage until November 3.
The entertaining comedy brought to Portugal by Plano 6 reinforces the dates/times of performances in Lisbon: Tuesday at 9 PM, Saturday at 5 PM (and 9 PM), and Sunday at 9 PM (and 5 PM). In addition to these sessions, there are regular performances from Wednesday to Sunday.
With text by Flávio de Souza and direction by Bruno Guida, this production brings to the stage a whirlwind of emotions that invade a widow during her husband’s wake, who departs unexpectedly.
That night, after visits from friends and family, the husband goes from spectator to participant and quickly decides to question his wife: misunderstandings are resolved, betrayals are forgiven, and vows of love are renewed before the journey to eternal life.
After Lisbon, “Stay With Me Tonight” heads north, presenting from November 6 to 17 at the Sá da Bandeia Theater, Porto, where it will return to close the tour from December 12 to 15.
For the first time acting together in Portugal, the duo from ‘Sai de Baixo’ will also perform in the theatres of Aveiro, Figueira da Foz, Póvoa do Varzim, and Leiria:

- Arts and Events Center: November 27 to December 1
- Garrett Cinema-Theater: December 3 and 4
- José Lúcio da Silva Theater: December 5 to 8.
