Filipe Albuquerque 1st in the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps
The team made up of Filipe Albuquerque, Phil Hanson and Fabio Scherer started from pole position and took the first victory of the season in the opening day of the LMP2 World Endurance Championship, in which the goal is to renew the 2020 title.
After starting from the seventh position on the grid, the Félix da Costa / Anthony Davidson / Roberto Gonzalez team went up places over the six hours of the race, extracting the maximum performance from Oreca No. 7, and finished in the second position of the LMP2.
The G-Drive Racing team of the third Portuguese race in the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, Rui Andrade, finished 13th.
The next race of the FIA WEC takes place at the Portimão Circuit, on the weekend of 13 June.
Meanwhile, next weekend, António Félix da Costa returns to Formula E, for the Monaco stage, a competition in which he defends the title of world champion.
