Parish of Santo António invites Lisbon residents to debate culture
and the challenges of local power at a conference in Parque Mayer
The Parish Council of Santo António, in Lisbon, is organizing the conference “Culture and the Challenges of Local Power”. The event takes place at Parque Mayer on June 5th.
Throughout the day, several personalities from the cultural sector will stop by the Parque Mayer Tent Auditorium to discuss topics such as “Cultural Producers and Local Authorities”, “Culture Out of Doors”, “The Other Side” of Culture and “Popular Culture in the Future ”.
The event will be attended by the president of the Parish Council Vasco Morgado and also by the President of the Oeiras City Council, Isaltino Morais, businessman Luís Montez and comedian Nilton, among many others.
The president of Lisbon City Council, Carlos Moedas will be present at the opening session. Entry is free.
