Google Maps gets dark mode on Android

Google has announced that it is ready to launch the dark theme for its navigation application, Google Maps.

Mountain View technology has been testing this option since September 2020, and is now ready to be launched at least on Android systems. There are currently no news regarding plans for iOS devices.

Note that Google Maps will take on this theme even in Android Auto, the version of the operating system available for motor vehicles.
