Inclusion was the watchword at the Ibis concert

ibis Music Silent Concert

A moment of great joy and inclusion in an afternoon when the music of HMB, Bateu Matou, and IRMA was for everyone, even for people who are deaf and hard of hearing.

ibis, with the support of the Portuguese Federation of Associations for the Deaf, organized the ibis Music Silent Concert, at the ibis Lisboa Parque das Nações hotel, and the joy of all who attended, deaf and hard of hearing, of all ages, was stamped on the face.

The concert had installed an audio induction loop system in the room, which allowed the hearing aids of the people present to capture the sound in a crisp, clear, perfectly intelligible way and at an appropriate volume. The room also had a screen where the subtitles were played and two sign language interpreters, who translated the lyrics of the songs and everything that happened on stage live.

As the communication note could read, “a concert is much more than the sound, but above all energy, vibration, spectacle, and fun, ibis will create an immersive experience in order to reinforce the values of inclusion and passion for the music that guides the brand. Much more than a concert, this action will be a way of supporting and giving visibility to the cause of deaf and hard of hearing people.
