João Vieira wins silver in the 50 km march

Portuguese athlete João Vieira won the silver medal of the 50 km march at the World Athletics Championships in Doha.

The Portuguese, who achieved his best ever result in Qatar in the World Championships, took the race 4: 04.59 hours, 39 seconds more than Japanese Yusuke Suzuki, who is the new world champion.

Evan Dunfee won the bronze, while Frenchman Yohann Diniz, who defended the title, dropped out.
