Juventus eliminates Inter and reaches the Italian Cup final
Juventus capitalized today on the triumph achieved in Milan and qualified, for the 20th time, for the final of the Italian Cup of football, by drawing 0-0 in the reception to Inter, in a game of the second leg of the semi-finals.
A week after winning 2-1 at Giuseppe Meazza, with two goals from Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the team led by Andrea Pirlo managed to hold the advantage achieved in the first leg.
Juventus, the record holder of the trophies of the competition (13) and who last season lost the final to Naples, is back to ‘stamp’ a place in the Italian Cup decision, this being the seventh presence in the last 10 seasons.
In the decision, the Turin emblem could even find Napoli, who play in the other semi-final against Atalanta. The Neapolitans play in Bergamo on Wednesday after a 0-0 first-leg draw at San Paolo.
Next week, on February 17, Juventus will visit FC Porto, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League.
