Last season of “LAR DOCE LAR” in Porto from September 1st to 17th
Joaquim Monchique and Maria Rueff take LAR DOCE LAR for the last time to Porto. The farewell to the show, which brought together the two actors on stage for the first time, takes place at Teatro Sá da Bandeira from 1st to 17th September.
LAR DOCE LAR returned in April last year, having been on stage for 5 months in Lisbon, followed by a double season in Porto (in September and December of the same year). Since then the show has traveled all over the country. On stage, currently, in Lisbon until the end of July, it returns to Porto in September for the last farewell to the unbeaten public.
Two elderly women who share a room at the Senior Residence Antúrios Dourados embark on an unreasonable competition for a private room after the “departure” of its previous occupant. With the comic brilliance we are used to, Maria Rueff and Joaquim Monchique unfold into multiple characters and take us on a troubled and hilarious journey through the four corners of this sweet home.
With a vibrant text, reinforced by the vivacity and intelligence of Rueff and Monchique’s interpretations, the doors of the Antúrios Dourados Residence are once again opened for a last opportunity to witness live the enormous talent of two absolutely unavoidable names in national comedy.
