The Lisbon room welcomed Lena d’Água for the presentation of her new album Tropical Glaciar, a night where affection, love and Portuguese music were the kings of the night.
Lena d’Água remains one of the stars of Portuguese music, her sympathy joins her affection and talent, and a sold-out São Luiz also shows the affection that the Portuguese public has for her.
With the new album Tropical Glaciar as a reason to see it on stage, it was with many applause that was received, the new work succeeds the Desalmadamente of 2019, acclaimed by critics and considered one of the “Best Albums of the Year”, which earned him the Play Award for “Best Female Artist” and “Prize of the Critic”, but also the José Afonso Award.
“What we were and what we are”, “Pop Takes” and “Sem Pressa”, songs that had already been revealed before the concert, and very well received by the audience, songs from an album, which focuses on themes that are dear to him, such as ecology and the defence of the environment, that his crystal clear voice, gives even more expression.
Lena is the voice of some of the songs of “Our Life”, it’s hard, for someone not to have at least one of their songs, in the list of most heard, do not know the lyrics and hum as soon as he starts to hear, and also these she sang in São Luiz, “Perto de ti”, “Carrossel”, Demagogia”, “Sempre que o amor me quiser”, “Robot” and “Desalmadamente“, in the company of the new band, Pedro da Silva Martins (Guitar and Voice), Luís J Martins (Guitar and Voices), Nuno Prata (Bass), Catarina Falcão (Guitar and Voices), Sérgio Nascimento (Drums, Percussion and Voices) and Vicente Santos (Keyboard and Voices).
A fantastic night that brought together fans, friends and colleagues, all admirers of her great talent, Lena d’Água sang, lived and dazzled on each song, it was beautiful!
