Inspired by the best hits of rock, pop, blues, soul and country, the band Plágio returns, next Wednesday, the 4th, to the Arena Lounge. This quartet recreates, until March 7th, hits by Queen, Elvis Presley, Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Tina Turner. The band also plays other more recent hits from Maroon Five, Joss Stone and Amy Whinehouse.
The compositions presented by the band Plágio demonstrate freedom of musical arrangements, giving way to creativity, ingenuity and musical personality typical of the formation. Singer Vanessa Ferreira will be accompanied by João Loureiro on guitar, Nuno Correia on bass and Tiago Santos on drums.
Well-known to Casino Lisboa visitors, Jazzafari will be the protagonist of musical entertainment at the Arena Lounge, from 11 to 14 March. The artistic name results from his past linked to Jamaican music and combined with jazz as a new stage in a diverse career.
Jazzafari takes the multipurpose stage accompanied by Valentim Carranza on guitar, Leo on electric bass and Marcelo Araújo on drums.
Stacat performs from 18 to 21 March to recreate a list of compositions well known to the public. The band proposes a fusion between pop, soul and jazz, giving a personal and unique touch to each of the songs.
In the Arena Lounge, vocalist Catarina Couto will be accompanied by Pedro Brito on guitar, Luis Rosa on bass, and Duarte Fernandes on drums.
From March 25 to 28, Maria Anadon stars in a short cycle of performances dedicated to jazz, travelling from classic to less conventional. Visitors to Casino Lisboa will be able to follow a repertoire of Jazz Standards and Bossa Nova, in which compositions by Sting, Jobim, U2, Cole Porter, Oasis, Depeche Mode, among many others, stand out.
With a consolidated musical path, Maria Anadon shares the multipurpose stage with André Reis on guitar, Zé Soares on guitar and André Mota, on drums.
