New single by Easy B now available on all platforms

Easy B, is the stage name of the Portuguese musician Miguel Bravo, who edited his new single Não Stresses this week.

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ão Stresses, in the words of Easy B, “is a theme that I composed for me. The song has a message of optimism, encouragement and positivity. These were things I wrote, that I needed to say to myself, things that I myself, needed to hear.”

Being a multifaceted artist, Easy B doesn’t just write the lyrics to his themes. The production is also his and, this can be seen in details such as the insertion of a sampler of Lúcia Moniz’s voice singing “since I remember being a producer, I like to use samples, this “strand” of Hip Hop has always been very present in the things I was absorbing. I grew up seeing Lúcia on TV screens, as a singer I also really like her work, the combination of what may not be so probable at the end, ends up in these good things that enrich us all.”

Interestingly, the video accompanying the single Não Stresses, was recorded in a live session in the studio and with a full band. A full band instead of the usual MC and DJ format? Easy B explains to us that “I really like the format “Two turntables and a microphone”, but the band, brings some more dynamics. The format of the live sessions is a format that I really like, and that I wanted to explore for some time, but that only now I had the opportunity to do it. Interestingly, the DJ was there to be there too, but due to availability issues, it was not possible.”

With regard to the current situation because countless cultural professionals pass by, the artist tells us that “we are going through a very difficult and dark moment in the culture sector, it is not only us artists who are getting hurt by all this, to many other professionals and people working behind the scenes who are completely groundless, I think that the best way for the government to intervene was first of all, to pay attention to the problem, to understand the importance that this sector has for a society, for the Parents”
