“O Meu Melhor Amigo” at Casino LisboaThe children’s musical “O Meu Melhor Amigo” entertains spectators of different generations at the Auditorium dos Oceanos at Casino Lisboa. The last representations are scheduled for Saturdays, January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.
“O Meu Melhor Amigo” takes us to the alleys of a typical Portuguese neighborhood and to all the adventures that we will experience there with a fun gang of street cats! Sofia, a woman from another country, now an inhabitant of the neighborhood, who lives alone in a rented room, and a couple of dogs – Manjerico and Sardinha, all together, will form the funniest and most unlikely group of friends ever!
Between cats and meows, fados and allies, “O Meu Melhor Amigo” brings a very Portuguese atmosphere, in a show full of color and joy, touched by many lively guitars, where the values of friendship and solidarity speak louder, alerting the problem of abandoned animals and for the inclusion of those who may be different. A very Portuguese anthem, filled with the most important values in life.
