The Toyota driver who dominated the race since Arganil on Friday won his third victory of the season and his first victory in the Portuguese race.
Ott Tanak at Toyota Yaris won the Portugal Rally, the seventh World Championship event, with Thierry Neuville in Hyundai i20 15.9 seconds.
Kris Meeke at Toyota Yaris lost second place due to a top-two finish in Montim 2, losing 17 seconds, before giving up the last special with one more top.
Sébastien Ogier in Citroën C3, who arrived in Portugal World Cup leader, opted for a calmer strategy, avoiding getting off the track.
The defending champion finished third, 57.1 seconds behind Tanak, and kept the championship by 142 points, and Tanak had 140 points.
